EOS Whales gain cold storage with latest Greymass wallet release
Greymass released version 0.2.1 of their (badly named but otherwise excellent) ‘eos-voter’ light wallet. This is excellent news for large EOS token holders, as this version offers support for cold storage and watch-only wallets.
Starting out as purely a tool for EOS Block Producer voting, the eos-voter project has scaled up its ambitions.
DutchEOS recommends large EOS holders to use offline signing tools and cold storage whenever possible to mitigate some of the attack vectors present in online signing.
eos-voter is a desktop wallet application build for the EOS blockchain, which can be downloaded and run on your computer.
eos-voter is free to use and open-source, and is designed to be a way to help secure your account while using the EOS blockchain. When using
eos-voter, your private keys never leave the application as transactions are signed locally.
